Aspire Public School’s EPA Phoenix Academy, established in 2006, has outgrown its leased facilities in East Palo Alto. The school, along with its faculty staff and students, has moved to their new permanent facility, located at 1039 Garden Street.

The new Phoenix Academy, a Division of the State Architect (DSA) approved project, utilizes a pre-approved 2-Story PC modular construction system, completed on an expedited schedule. In addition to architectural services, K2A assisted in the site acquisition and relocation of the school.

The 2.7 acre site design includes 18 classrooms, 2 science labs, fine arts classroom, faculty work spaces, administrative offices, and support spaces. The design maximizes efficiency with two-story modular buildings, connected by exterior walkways for circulation. The site infrastructure is also built to accommodate the future addition of a multi-purpose/gymnasium. The addition will allow for an expansion of the academic program to accommodate 406 students in grades 6-12.
