Dorothy Day Community, operated by Mercy Housing, provides 100 units of affordable senior housing in downtown San Francisco. The building’s first floor rehabilitation invokes a more welcoming reception, as well as creating gathering places for residents and guests. The main entry and lobby are equipped with a new, more efficient reception desk, new flooring, fresh paint, and new furnishings to create a more inviting space for residents and visitors. Common areas such as the computer room and library, kitchen, and community room have been remodeled and refurnished.
