The El Camino Hospital is a new community funded, technologically advanced, treatment facility designed with an emphasis on sustainably sourced, low maintenance materials. K2A Architecture + Interiors lead the interior design of the first floor Emergency Department, Radiology Department, and Administrative Offices, as well as the ground floor Conference Center, Food Service, and Dining Facilities.

The Emergency reception comforts entering patients and families, incorporating the hospital’s signature blue and orange colors, it curves gently around to a pediatric play zone, integrated into the waiting area. The subterranean dining room features a custom glass mural, and opens onto the Demonstration Kitchen, used for food education and VIP dining events.
